Metchosin

The District of Metchosin is a rural community on southern Vancouver Island, located 16 kilometers southwest of Victoria. Home to about 5,067 residents, it borders the Sc’ianew First Nation, Colwood, Langford, Sooke, and the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area. Known for its farmland, large residential lots, and diverse natural landscapes, Metchosin offers regional recreation, serving as a gateway to four regional parks. The community also features schools, a marina, and golf courses.
